Water damage across Prosper's neighborhoods

Prosper is one town with very different building stock. A railroad-era core, custom homes around a golf club and new master-planned sections all fail in somewhat different ways, and these pages describe how.

The town

A small railroad stop that became a large suburb

Prosper formed in 1902 when the Rock Hill and Richland communities came together around a new rail line, and it incorporated in 1914 [2]. For most of its history it stayed small. Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses it went from 9,423 to 30,174 people [1], and master-planned communities took over much of the farmland.

So when someone in Prosper asks about water damage, the useful follow-up is which part of town and which kind of house. Far west Prosper has Denton ISD subdivisions such as Glenbrooke and Doe Creek [1], while most of the town is in Prosper ISD. The pages below cover four parts of town where we could find enough public information to say something specific. Other parts of Prosper may still be served: ask on the call.

Coverage

How coverage works for a Prosper address

Calls are matched against the coverage of the contractors taking calls, and that can change. If your address is not covered, the call will tell you. Town boundaries in this part of North Texas also do not always line up with postal addresses, so a Prosper mailing address may sit in a neighboring jurisdiction. Check which town issues your permits before any repair work begins.
